Intergen at TechEd

At Intergen, August is all about the ever-popular and most significant industry event of the year - TechEd - Microsoft’s annual forum for developers. Running from 13–15 August in Auckland, TechEd is once again a sell out with tickets being snapped up months before the event actually starts.

Every year Intergen brings a splash of yellow to the event, and this year the tradition continues. Without giving away too much, suffice it to say that despite a theme of camouflage, TechEd-goers will find the Intergen crowd hard to miss in their yellow attire.

Intergen will have 25 staff on the ground at TechEd who will be involved in running the Hands on Labs, a presence in the exhibition hall and several speakers.

Intergen speakers include Intergen’s Director of Strategy and Innovation, Chris Auld, who is also a Microsoft Regional Director and an MVP for Mobile Application Development; Mark Orange, one of two Microsoft SharePoint MVPs in New Zealand; and Andrew Tokeley, Intergen’s Wellington Development and Integration Manager. They will be speaking about:

  • Microsoft Office Business Applications (Chris Auld)
  • ActionThis – a sneak preview into a Software + Services product yet to hit the market (Chris Auld)
  • Document and Records Management Using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Clients (Mark Orange)
  • Web Content Management in Microsoft Office SharePoint (Mark Orange)
  • WEB313 - Developing Data Driven Applications using the new Dynamic Data Controls in ASP.Net (Andrew Tokeley)
